No crash diet. Just structure, protein and consistency
By Gary Chappell
IN eight weeks Georgia Currie did not chase a crash diet. She followed a plan.
Week 1 shows a starting point most people would call “already in shape”. Week 8 shows what happens when calories, protein and training actually line up: a tighter waist, fuller delts, clearer abs and a back and glutes that look trained rather than just leaner.
No gimmicks. No guesswork. Just structure, consistency and execution.

What changed
Front:
- midsection tighter, less spill over the waistband
- shoulders and arms look more athletic
- quads and hips sit leaner without looking depleted
Rear:
- lower back tighter
- glute-ham tie-in cleaner
- overall shape sharper from the same lighting and similar stance
That is fat loss with muscle kept on. It is not “I stopped eating”.
How eight-week changes like this are built
Most people train hard and still stall because the diet is a vibe. The work that produces a week-1 to week-8 difference is boring on paper:
- a calorie target that creates a small, consistent deficit
- protein high enough to hold muscle (roughly 1.6–2.2 g per kg, not 400 g a day theatre)
- carbs and fats adjusted to training, not copied off a story
- weekly check-ins so the plan moves when the scale and photos move
Georgia did the work. The photos are hers. Eight weeks is long enough to see a physique change and short enough that there is nowhere to hide sloppy tracking. We are both excited to see what the next six weeks brings.
